Celtics Team Report
(Thu, 29 Jul 2010 00:25:26 PDT)
Paul Pierce doesn't sound too comfortable with the Celtics if the club doesn't do more with its roster.
"We have to add a lot right now. We have to add a whole bench, when you think about it," he said before the Celts re-signed backup point guard Nate Robinson. "We really need a lot.
"I think it was a great move by Danny (Ainge, the team president) to pick up Jermaine (O'Neal). We definitely needed some inside presence. Danny has done a good job. But you see all of these good players falling to these other teams, like Chicago and New York. It makes you realize that there's work to do."
Pierce was asked about the new Heat, with LeBron James and Chris Bosh joining Dwyane Wade.
"They definitely boosted themselves," Pierce said.
